Taiwan's first major step into confronting environmental issues came with the first-ever TiGiS, a massive event that lets Taiwan do its part in saving the planet by harnessing green concepts and business!!!!!!!! November 18, 2009 Taipei, Taiwan: This rare event plugged in the best of Taiwan's brains into the noble cause of saving the planet. It fielded the best of industry, academia, NGOs, and entrepreneurs at TiGiS which ran from 21 to 24, October. To make it happen three groups joined together to feature 150 eco-linked companies to use 270 booths.
